Sausage Balls (without Bisquick)
These sausage and cheese balls are a favorite in our house! I love that I know exactly what is in these sausage balls, unlike some of the mixes. Double the recipe and store half in the freezer and reheat for another quick breakfast option.

Ingredients

  • (2 cups) All purpose flour
  • (3 tsp) Baking Powder
  • (1/2 tsp) Salt
  • (1/4 tsp) Garlic Powder
  • (1/4 tsp) Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • (1/4 tsp) Onion Powder
  • (1 tsp) Dried Parsley
  • (3 cups) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • (1 lb) Pork Ground Sausage (Breakfast Blend)
  • (1/4 - 1/2 cup) Milk

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350° an dline a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until mixed (using your hands works best).
  3. Roll tablespoonsfuls into balls with your hands and place on the lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
